Any of you know if the temperature display in the car shows the temp of the bonnet or is it the interior?

About 2 years ago I went to Bahrain. the temperature there was very hot too…abt 40 to 50 degree in the afternoon. It was so hot that I got shingles there. So during the hot period, heard that the construction pple do not work in the afternoon. They work early in the morning, rest from about 11 to 4 (esti) then they start work again in the evening…

Really hope it rains soon.... This morning we woke up to bad burning smell in the air.....
