Nebbermind had also kindly compiled an important Summary chart, for future DSA applicants, as reference : on the various Requirements for \"Integrated Curriculum Program (IP) Secondary schools, DSA (Academic domain)\"
This is very useful.
Thank you very much, Nebbermind.

1.
The 2015 Primary School Mother Tongue Languages (MTL) curriculum will be phased in to schools, starting from the Primary 1 level in 2015, and progressively to the Primary 6 level in 2020.
The 2015 Primary School MTL curriculum aims to develop students as proficient language users, who can communicate in a confident and effective way.
This builds on the current curriculum and is aligned with the recommendations of the 2010 MTL Review Committee.
2.
Recognising that many real-life situations require spontaneous two-way communication, the 2015 Primary School MTL curriculum will place greater emphasis on spoken and written interaction skills.
The 2015 curriculum will have a greater focus on authentic activities to better develop our students’ communication skills.
It will also continue to expose students to culture and values through MTL learning.
3.
A set of story characters will feature in each of the MTL textbooks, big books, as well as information and communications (ICT) resources.
The story characters will be set in real-life situations to better engage students in their learning of MTL.
The learning objectives of each lesson will also be brought out through the story characters.
4.
There will also be a greater use of information and communication technology (ICT) to enhance the teaching and learning of MTL.
ICT resources such as videos, animations, digital interactive games will continue to be developed to support the curriculum in engaging our students to learn MTL in a fun and purposeful way. -
What is the percentage or the number of our P6 girls this year (born 2002) from Mainstream (non-Gep), getting DSA \"IP\" curriculum (bypass O level) offer
- CO (academic) from RGS Sec ?
- CO (academic) from Nanyang Girls' High ?
- CO (academic) from National Junior College ?
- CO (academic) from Temasek Junior College ?
- CO (academic) from Dunman High ?
- CO (academic) from River Valley High ?
- CO (academic) from CHIJ St Nicholas Sec ?
- CO (academic) from SCGS Sec ?
- CO (academic) from Cedar Sec ?
- CO (IB) from MGS Sec ?
let's focus on Mainstream, as majority of our P6 classes are Mainstream.
There are Total eleven P6 classes.
out of 11 : 8 classes are Mainstream (majority), only 3 are Gep classes.
(Gep classes are : P, Q, R)
http://www.rafflesgirlspri.moe.edu.sg/a ... m-teachers
Each Gep class small : around 25 pupils, per class.
many Geppers may receive more than 1 CO, although very few Geppers received none.
Each Mainstream class big : around 40 pupils, per class.
Total number of P6 Geppers = around 75 ( 25 x 3)
Total number of P6 Mainstream pupils = around 320 ( 40 x
let's focus on the number of CO (academic), not CO (Sports cca).
Any Mainstream P6 pupils receive DSA (academic) CO, from any Secondary schools ?
Congratulations !
