chloecube:
Hi, agree that this is the right approach!not too sure if i am doing it right,
i have stop all writting work.
Science:
i get DS to revise all the past year paper he had done, especially those with correction, and also to revise on his school worksheet.
English Paper 1:
Made him read through compo and memorise good paragraph and phrase
English Paper 2:
focus on his weaker areas, which is the Synthesis and Transformation and Compre
Chinese Paper 1:
same as Eng Paper, read Compo and memorise good phase
Chinese Paper 2:
focus on Compre which he is weaker at
Math:
no more drilling on paper
just practice on topic he is weaker at, he is really bad at speed
i am not stressing him anymore, just remind him to do his revise on his own now
and get him to rest as much as possible
2 more weeks to go, hang in there!
JiaYou to all!!! -

10 more days to PSLE and the haze is back..... what a bad timing.....
PSLE is always the time when haze returns.
加油...you can do it.
Go through mistakes and don't do anything more...drink more water...stay indoors.
That is not true. PSLE n Haze are never together (as far as I can remember from my dd's time - 5 years ago till now).
Its so unfortunate its happening this year.
Best to keep the children indoor, exempt from PE if possible. -

I like this blog written by this blogger.
\"He went on to say that many parents in our society got it the other way round. Many pursue their careers and leave their babies and little ones with others, be it grandparents, babysitters, maids, childcare. Ten years later, the mothers start to resign from their job to stay home, because PSLE is coming, they’ve got to be there for their kids to make sure they do well for it!
“But by then it is too late,” he said, “If you can, stay home for your kids, especially during the early years.”

I don't agree with this blogger.
Not everyone has the luck to be SAHM from the birth of their children, especially living in SIN.
Being SAHM doesn't guarantee that the child will do well in PSLE n being FTWM doesn't mean that the child wont do well in PSLE.
What is more important is the quality time n priority of the parent given to the child regardless of SAHM or FTWM.
Its never too late even if you don't stay at home from birth. I am speaking from my own personal experience n I know many FTWMs are in the same shoes as I am. -
Being a happy mum is more impt on staying at home or not.
I have friends who quitted and hated their days as staying at home mum and friends who can juggle well btw career and kids. -

On top of that, SAHM or FTWM.... most importantly is build up children with the right character and mannerism.... PSLE is not everything! :celebrate:sembgal:

Being happy is important for one's sanity.
As a mum and wife, I guess happiness affects everyone in the family.
PSLE is not everything...although it drives parents :siao: with the preparation.
PSLE is just one of the many major exams...if you feel that you have done your part, sit back. -
9 more days to go...:)
