At $$$100 bucks a head? :x
What's there to see in a casino?
The $100/head entry fee will not deter big rollers nor habitual gamblers,
but it will deter people like you from having a look-see out of curiosity.
I heard recently that there were more Singaporeans than foreigners in the casino!
Does that $100/head entry barrier works?
If the garmen doesn't want to encourage gambling nor let Singaporeans have easy access to casinos, then we shouldn't built the casinos.
Would u build a shit-hole in your backyard
AND DON'T EXPECT the flies to congregate?
The $100 entry fee will just contribute to the garmen's coffers,
just like the maid's levy, foreign worker's levies,....
Imagine, foreigners come for free...
Singaporeans pay.
and
pay
and
pay..... -
ya lor so stressssssssssssssss

Me too havenβt been to the casino yet and also think is not worth to pay $100 just to look-see-look-see. Looks like we are all kuai kuai parents here.
-
My feeling is, they have to change this policy somehow as time pass. Can they just survive on tourists and foreigners who live here ? I doubt .....

-
Give them the most 2yrs to change the rule.
-
I hope they donβt.
$100 per person per 24hrs is quite a decent collection for Tax Dept. -
Do you work for Tax dept?
-
I hoping they don't change too. If they give FOC for all singaporean, you will see LOTS of Singaporean rushing into the casino. There maybe senerio where the housewife taking their marketing money to gamble. Scary.....

no.
but higher tax revenue from one area (especially an area that I'm not contributing to) will result in possible lower tax in other areas or more tax reliefs.
