We're in the same boat! DS2 had been enjoying the \"autonomy of self-governance\" these past 2 weeks. In all seriousness, he forewarned me that he had failed his Oral. I am not surprised. With no prep, it was a forgone conclusion. My deputy, aka the Father, who was supposed to watch over him in the meanwhile was more concerned about getting over jet-lag and training for the ST half-marathon.
ds was bright and chatty this am though he has 1 more paper to go. Hopefully he come home happy today that paper is manageable.MMM:

Spotlight will be trained on DS2, next. He is going to be squirming and whining. I have purchased ear plugs.

Same here, dd has been on auto pilot mode for the past 2 weeks. I was out of the picture, except showering some tlc here and there. With teachers running the final lap with them. I m thankful for that. I Picture it as a race, each subject teacher running with each individual, to the finishing line. I m touched by their sacrifices to stay back each day after school, supporting them academically, buying chocolates and sweets to encourage them when they are waned.
Though dd didn't do well in her science prelim, I hope she picked herself from where she fell, know her mistakes and press on from there. And also to mature from this whole episode. :please:

Haha! Yr DS just wanted to have his celebration to be aligned with the rest of his peers. Another 40 mins to go, the children have officially completed their National Exams, except for some going for Higher Mother Tongue.
Yes 2 more to go for ds as well. He kept \"complaining\" that HCL should be before CL so that his friends cannot celebrate before him. Think having 50% of the school celebrating while they still need to sit for HCL doesn't feel good (as usual)...GiftedGem:

Imagine, the last 2 mths, we were talking abt our trips and it is this weekend. But hor, have yet to pack our luggages and US$ is appreciating against SG$ which we have not changed yet. :nailbite: -

My younger girl will be having her exam soon. I am hoping that my elder can help coaching her but I don’t think the younger one will listen to her sister.

And me too! DD p3 is having Eng paper 1 today n Chi paper 2 tmr. Exam starting in 2 weeks n last paper is 27 Oct. Can only rest after that date.
