I just found the answer to my own question.Hi
Any p3 parents here? May I know what are the science topics for p3 semester 1 and 2 as I understand different schools start with different topics?
Is it something like that?
Semester 1
Living and non living things
Diversity of plants
Diversity of animals
Fungi and bacteria
Diversity of material
Magnets and characteristics
Semester 2 -
Life cycle of plants
Life cycle of animals
Please share? Thanks.
Here is the list of p3 to p6 science topics that will be taught.

Hi FantasyLandDreams,
Nope not a lot of homework, manageable, mainly chinese homework and sometimes maths worksheet. Out of 5 days, the most 3 days have homework only so far.FantasyLandDreams:
Hello to all,
My daughter will be joining MBS next year.
Is it true that P1 has a lot of homework?
Can we really join the Parent Support Group on ad-hoc and only volunteer whenever we can?
Yes can join Parent Support Group on ad-hoc basis, just fill up a form and 'tick' the adhoc box during orientation day in end December. PSG Committee will be there to intro themselves and give out the form. That's how I join.
Thank you for the detailed information. Will definitely look out for the PSG Committee.
Hi
I just realised there is an online form to join the Parent Support Group on a regular/adhoc basis. Here is the link:

If so , she is a nice and dedicated teacher . Very encouraging too . I remember that she gave the class highlighters and pencils just before PSLE . How sweet of her

Hi P2 parents,
There is supposed to be oral exams for P2s before school on Tue - Fri this week.
What time? Do we need to send them to school earlier? -
A better tomorrow:
Yes share the same thoughts on Mrs Chung. She taught my dd who was P6 last year as well. While she may look very stern initially, she is actually approachable and treat them like young adults.

This year, my ds sat for his PSLE and his FT specially gave the class pilot G2 pen (personalised with their names and lucky owl pictures) just before PSLE (for their children's day present). She told them it's for their PSLE. That was a sweet thought too. -

Hi,
May I know if there's any private transport to ferry from Ang Mo Kio MRT station to Maha Bodhi School? Return trip from school as well.
Appreciate if parents here have any contacts for such transport arrangement.
My kid is attending the afternoon session (Pri 1) next year in 2014.
:thankyou:
