      http://www.edvantage.com.sg/edvantage/news/news/1100896/Teacher_tells_pupil_I_don_t_want_to_see_your_face_.html
that poor child has a phobia attending school now. Poor girl, only Primary 1 !

MOE did not break down number of pupils registered, by distance range.
(ie. less than 1 km, between 1 to 2 km, beyond 2 km)
Nor breakdown by SC / PR registered.
you may however contact the school, inquire detailed breakdown (if keen)

                      Yes, you're right.
last year, no balloting for (1 to 2 km).
They absorb all SC staying within 2 km.
but those beyond 2 km - no chance.

                      last year (2012) Phase 2B :-
Fairfield Methodist had places only for Singapore citizenship children - residing within 2km of the school. No balloting was conducted.

Sorry but its 1st time I am reading this.... so based on last yr trend, it simply means if I have priority under 2B but more than 2 km.... I can don't even bother to try cos I won't be get a chance to ballot, let alone to even think of get in?

                        Thanks
