yeah..eng and higher chinese paper tough ..for pr 4s too..

my dd came back depressed today..i did not want to say too much cos she already feel yucky..this little one so serious..say too much..she feel more pressure..I will just scan the question papers next week when it is returned.. any way no use..rvps tests/exam papers set ,in my opinion, always got 'pattern'--the ca1 for maths always easy..then sa1 the paper is chokingly difficult..the english ca1 always difficult..then sa1 pretty fair..see..pattern... 😞

then the chinese paper (higher chinese) set so difficult..usual lessons in school also never prepare for the monumental tasks ahead in test..not a fair assessment( in my opinion!)What is there to evaluate??

anyway,to cut through the chaste, tests taking IS hard...

In Primary One and Two, they will be in the same class together. 😄

End of Primary Two , after sitting for their final exam and the overall year's results have been calculated, in Primary Three, they will then be placed in different classes, according to merit.
(interesting to know that if want to go to A class, should be in the first 4 positions in class ie if the administrative policy is still the same under new principal)

During my dd's time(she's now in Pr 4), the Primary Three classes are ,according to merit,3A to G,A being strongest -academically 😎

Correction: First 4 in class position does not warrant a place in A class. The School looks at the overall result in whole P3 level. A child may be 3rd in his class but 42nd in standard. Conversely, another child is 15th in his class but <40th in whole standard, he gets into 'A' class. This year onwards, the classes are not named from 'A' to 'G', but I believe the system remains unchanged.

Anyone going to attend the 2.30 talk on Friday, and 5.30 talk by P on subject banding for P4s?
