Good question, but not a fair comparison, since those who got into HCI at yr 5 are only the few minority who did very well in their 'O' level. So there is a high chance of having IP stream do better, because more people and got GEP pp mah...

It is to see whether the IP students lose out in not having to go thru the vigorous O level exams.

You have given your reason as to why you think the IP batch should do better but despite your reasoning, what happened if the fact is that those who entered at Year 5 did much better ? At least we know whether the IP syllabus is effective.

So, did the school give a breakdown on this ?

Hi, i guess its not a matter of sensitiveness. More in your personal needs n requirement. For eg. Lets say a sap school, HCL issue. Some kids weak in chinese might not want to get in sap because of difficulty. However the parents might think its a good environment for the child to learn chinese and culture. Every schools have their own culture and prestidge, difficult to compare.
