iPad Air or Mini Retina
-
got ipad air from airport on a recent trip… saved the GST…cdnt do without one frankly

I think the mini with retina may be better because it has all the same specs as the ipad air, just in a smaller form. plus i was trying the tablets out and i feel that the mini is better to hold in one hand. for the ipad air, it will be a little difficult if you like to hold your tablet in one hand

It is cheaper buying from airport? How much? -
I chose mini cos it’s more portable but the small size doesn’t affect my surfing experience much. My daughter uses it sometimes and the ipad is too big as she can’t hold it far away enough, so in terms of screen-distance ratio, mini is better. I had an ipad 2 and my hubby had the mini w/o retina. So I changed my ipad to mini retina instead of air. I got the 16gb at first, then realized that my girl’s apps alone take up all the space, so ended up buying the 128gb. =_=

Anyone here thought of buying a Android tablet? They seems to be quite cheap nowadays. Like $300-400 for a rather high end one? :?

I own both the air and mini, and I feel that the size of a mini is more portable, and fits in my hands better than the air!

My dd and I shared the Google Nexus 7. I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7 for myself. We are satisfied with the Android mini tablets.
