      Actually, the t-score of the top student in each cohort reflects the overall difficulty of the exam. If the exams are generally easy, the mean for every subject will tend to be high. Assuming that the standard deviation remains the same for each cohort, it will be very difficult for any student to achieve anything beyond 280 if the mean is very high. So if the top t-score for last year’s (2013) PSLE is 275, then it must have been a much easier exam compared to the previous 5 years. It would be interesting to see if that changes this year.

        This thread is quite quiet compared to a similar thread last year. This year’s parents are more calm?

            Some probably toss and turn tonight in bed can't sleep, thinking about results release tomorrow, after 11 am.

            Those who did not get DSA offer : will think about Secondary school choices & posting.

              As a 1st time PSLE mummy, I am excited and yet nervous as well.
              Imagine for tmrw, my heart beat will likely to go pipok pipok when the result releases.
