Is Chung Cheng better or Yishun Town? They seem the same but there is only one 1st choice…

We are staying in Yishun. Cannot decide to choose CCHY or CCHM.

Child have 245+2. Going CCHM should not be a issue , but afraid the distance from Yishun to CCHM need a bit of travelling time.

Should we just settle to CCHY? Not sure we are not giving her a chance to go CCHM because of distance. Any advice?

I heard the qualification rate for JC has dropped.

84.4% for Express students and 18.3% for NA students.

DH has a friend staying at Khatib whose son studies at CCHM. This boy will be sec 3 next yr. According to him, distance is ok cos there is a direct bus to school at the bus stop opp Khatib MRT station.

                Hi parents,

may i know if the child did not take HCL during PSLE, does he/she still stand a chance for CCHY? Do they look at the HCL result? Thanks.

yishun is not a SAP school, if I am not mistaken.

So HCL score is not taken into consideration.

CCHM at Goodman is the SAP sec school. The branch in Yishun has NA stream, if I'm not mistaken.

From the website looks like only Express stream students will be taking HCL. I had a friend's son studying there, did not take HCL in primary school. So far I see that he is coping quite ok.
