Hi! My dd is 14, turning 15 next year. She is interested to learn dance and is considering ballet. She is a complete beginner with no dance background, is she too old to start? And any class recommendations for my dd? I have searched around and most beginner classes are for toddlers. Are there any classes with her age group and at beginner level? Thank you!
Maybe you can email this ballet teacher to ask about her adult ballet class too.

They used to be dancers from sdt. Very professional, good with children and I like how exact they deliver the steps. -
Thanks for the info. Is the orchard branch as good as the old fire station branch?

Yes. Just a matter of location. Teachers the same.

Thanks again for the info.

May i know whether you have any contacts to buy ballet shoes on line or stores in singapore. Teacher quoted around $40+ for ballet shoes - was just wondering whether can get cheaper shoes outside. My gal is only 7 yrs and just started to learn this year. tks

I suppose you mean character shoes - low heels for their character dance. I suppose you can also buy second hand from other mummies..
Usually characters shoes are only worn for a very short time... less than 3 months in preparation for their exams. And the low-heeled ones are only worn for G1 and G2... You are lucky if they don't outgrow, else like me, you will end up with 4 pairs of lightly used ones.
The normal soft pink shoes should cost less than $30
