As long as it is Windows 8.1 should be fine. Best is to get the spec and check with the school. BTW, Acer has come out with a cheaper $200+ tablet.

Not sure about P4 next year but in the case of my child for his P4 & P5, most of his English materials were kept by the school. That is why they need your child's name and class for the following year.
