What are the chances of putting my girl in the school that is far away from where I stay.


I really hope that my daughter will get into St Margaret Pri. Presently staying in ard the area but will move to Bukit Batok area in 2017.

Hi Moh1976, it voice down to the following factors

1. The year of enrollment for your DD. Distance is calculated based on the house you are staying then.
2. Based on past trend, chances is generally higher for Singaporean citizen living within 2 km of the schools.

I heard of people who move further away from SMPS when their daughter is in P2....if you follow this forum there are cases where people who rented a place which is nearby just to get in (not referencing to SMPS) during enrollment and move out after they get in, for the latter I can't comment whether there will be repercussion if the sch/MOE found out.

My elder gal will be P3 next year. I was told Top 2 classes for P3 2015 are Kindness and Patience.

What I know is that top 5 girls or top several in current P2 classes are either going to Kindness or Patience next year.

For the rest, I am not sure how the distribution is like.

Every year will be different, this year the top 2 class was P3C and P3D.

& anyone sends their girls to the studentcare within the school? Is it good?

Any Supplementary classes to stay back? Till what time? And from primary 4 onwards? Or p5? Or??

hi, may I check whether the school gives back the English and Chinese compositions done in exams, like sa1 and sa2?


if don’t give back, do they let parents know the composition marks scored??
