i did a booking for josiah montessori.. but i'm a little hesitant.. but it seems like its the best i can find last minute.

i'm looking at half-day playschool options around simei/tampines, preferably more play-based. did you go for josiah in the end? any comments?

When I visited and spoke to the teachers, it seemed that it was more learning through play than say PCF schools.

And I suppose montessori methods are more individualised and not stressful or rote, each kid can go at his or her own pace...

So am considering Josiah as well. Convenience of location is another major factor for me. hope this helps.

The fees are a little too costly too me too.

I've just enrolled my kids (4yrs and 2yrs) at the Little Skool House. Newly open at the Tampines Jucttion Building. Environment is nice, new and bright but not too sure abt the teaching though cos really new sch. Teachers are nice and friendly too.

Like what toddles said, convenient is important so that's why i put them there.

Thanks all for the feedback. I checked out little skool house as well but it's more a childcare arrangement as opposed to a 2-3hr programme that I'm more inclined towards. And yes, was also thinking that I hadn't had the chance to see the teachers at work so I've put it on the kiv list for the moment. Would appreciate it if you could let us have some feedback after your kids have started school, thanks
