I understand that IP kids dun really have a lot of textbooks tat they use in class. May I know if all of u purchase everything listed on the booklist for sec 1 cos my Sis who was also in IP told me not to buy as they dun really use any unless teacher ask for it later. what abt whatever folders(without Sch names kind) and files listed on it? I had so many left overs fr the first year he was transferred to his second primary Sch like plastic files, some exercise books or jotter books etc… Dun wan to waste money on these which they most likely will not use bit yet always on the booklist … Thanks!

My son will be going to RI from this new batch. Now looking at travelling options from Marine Parade - Car pool, School transport, bus+MRT.

I heard one way school bus is available from some parts of Singapore. Wonder if our area qualifies.

Take Bus 16 to Dakota MRT. From Dakota MRT take to Marymount MRT. It's very fast. My DS does that everyday up and down. I heard there is a private bus that plies the East but don't have the contact. You could ask the school.

There's a school bus service. My daughter takes the school bus to RI(JC) from Pasir Ris. The bus also picks up students from RI since the two schools are so close to each other. You should be able to make arrangements for transport on reporting day.

Fast and safe and economical.
