Hi, my boy also going to CHS next year. I heard that first week is orientation with a camp? Will we get timetable on Mon during registration?
Also, how many sets of uniform and PE tee is reasonable?
Thks all -
Hi dreamgear, checking in to this CHS thread
My boy got into the O level track. Hope to know more about the school from all CHS parents. -
First week is orientation, actually is cum talent search by the school to encourage students to join the CCA most suited for your DS.
Uniform 3 sets and PE 3 sets minimum.
But remember, CHS got PE T-Shirt also got House Shirt, if you buy 3 each, it will 6 pcs. Buy what suits you, same same like primary school and donβt forget, they will grow up fast in secondary school.
All the best, next year onwards, new principal, hope everything gets better if not remain at least the same. -
Hi my boy also gg to CHS next year. I enjoyed listening to Mr Lee at the Open House. He seems so down to earth. I get the impression that CHS has a very encompassing environment. If I'm right, hope it remains so.

Itβs on the MOE Website, he is going to Loyang Secondary School.

Just wondering what is the involvement of parents on Monday? Anyone knows? Not sure if we have to "hang" around.

My boy will be joining CHS Sec next year..
Parents need to help your boys buy books & school uniforms on S1 Registration Day next Monday. There will be a briefing in the Hall at 8.30am. I certainly will be 'hanging' around for 2.5 hours, or longer..

\"Hang\" around? :rotflmao:
No need lah.
If your boy knows how to go home by himself, then let him go back himself.
If not, you go \"hand\" around at J8 lah, until schools ends which is very late in the afternoon. -
Is the briefing in the hall for the students only or parents have to be present too?
-
22 Dec is for both DS and Parents.
2 Jan I think parents do not "hang" around.
