Anyone with experience with appeal to Cedar?

Do they have an interview? Is it based on Tscore only or holistic achievements and CCA?
My DD is 2 points away from 2014 COP 248โ€ฆsighโ€ฆshould I try?

I think no harm trying especially if your dd has a sports cca.

                    You may try, of course.

But whether appeal can go through or not : will depend on whether any pupil wish to withdraw from Cedar first, thus creating vacancies available.
If nobody withdraw when is full-house, means no vacancy.
Someone has to come out from the school first, before the next child can get in.

                    for appeal cases -
if your dd is in Sports cca school team previously in primary school, her chance of appeal is higher, compared to another child also appealing, but from say, Performing Arts cca (non Sports), or from
Visual Arts cca (drawing, painting, sculpture, etc)
If you have what Cedar desire or want, they may consider.
As you know, Cedar is very much, into Sports.

If your dd have a Sports cca, if shortlisted for appeal, the coach / trainer may want to see how your dd play first.

Since Cut off point for O level is 248 this year -
there are also others with 247 also appealing, besides 246s.

My DD class alone has 14 students going to cedar. Not too sure how many from other classes.

Cedar p said they took in top 10% of the cohort even for the "o" track this year. I think itโ€™s not happened in previous years?
