River Valley High School [*IP]
-
phtthp:
For the past 7-8 batches, there were two batches with COP 251, a few batches with COP 253. This was when many other top schools have COPs in the 260++ ranges or at least in the top 250 ranges..River Valley High confirmed that 2014 Psle Cut Off Point (for 2015 Sec 1 intake : born 2002) is
249 (IP)
2 points drop, from last year 251 (2013)
But 7 points drop, from two years' ago at 256 (2012 Psle cut off point, for 2013 Sec 1 intake)
So, still I do not think RV has lose out in term of relative strength w.r.t to other top schools. It has remained almost unchanged despite the big hoo-ha in big swing in t-score ranges in the past few years. -
Hi All,
Would like to check if there is any private bus service to RVHS from Choa Chu Kang area? Many thanks! -

Thanks!BBEwee:
Would like to check with parent here, is it compulsory for the sec 1 student to purchase an Ipad?
Don't think it's compulsory but it's odd not to have one when everyone is using it. It's a good if it is used meaningfully but most likely, the kids will play games with it. It's addictive :slapshead: -

Hey BBEwee
Guess u already knew, its compulsory to own a 1-to-1 ipad, no sharing with siblings though.
Its a good deal to order through sch. For the same px, sch's vendor come with freebies like protective cover and earphone

Food is usually sold around $2( bread from bread stall at around $1) while drinks can be bought from vending machines or the drinks stall at around $1. There are two breaks, recess and lunch daily. Hence, for me, $4/5 is enough.
