Sometimes, when we are in the comfort zone, we might lack of motivation to pursue our dream or even have a dream at all.

One of my friend's son taking PSLE next year.
My friend making huge profit from renting out a few of condo that she owned. All payment of the condo were already fully paid. They are living in luxury just on the rental alone. The son is very slacking in his studies. There is once he told his mom that why he need to study so hard, since he could just live on his parents wealth and just collect rental like what his mother did.

            This is very true.

I know of a young girl whose mummy owns a beauty salon. This girl does nothing but come to the shop n be lady boss. Her mum is going to hand over the salon to her but this girl is just wasting time doing nothing in the salon.

              Whose \"fault\" ?
              The parents' or the child's?

if this young girl had taken a course in hairstyling, then she will not be at a loss if the staff walk out. what’s the point of becoming a lady boss when she knows nothing about the trade?

I agree. She is still young n still a long way to go. She doesn’t know or bother to take up a skill. She only sit pretty n collect $ from the customers.

I personally saw her doing that.

Probably the child is not mature enough to understand the whole issue and situation, that is - No one can predict the future so nothing is definite until it actually happen. Meanig that they can enjoy the luxury now but it may or may be so 20 yrs , 30 yrs down the road. Only with good education that one can secure a good future.

I always told my kids that mummy and daddy cannot be with them forever, they have to depend on themselves to earn their own living when they grow up, and they can only do it with a good education.

If the kids are fortunate enough to have a salon or a company to inherit, they should still have sound education to support themselves and not think that money is easy to come by. the staff of the salon are not going to be so stupid to work for the girl's mother forever, one day they might just walk off...and this girl will cry because she cannot cut customers' hair.
