Food is usually sold around $2( bread from bread stall at around $1) while drinks can be bought from vending machines or the drinks stall at around $1. There are two breaks, recess and lunch daily. Hence, for me, $4/5 is enough.

Hello, food in the canteen mostly costs $2-$2.50(food from the cafe in hostel costs $3-$4) and drinks costs $0.60-1.00! RV has 2 break times ie recess and lunch so I guess you can gauge how much ur child will need based on these info? Hope ur child has a wonderful first day on fri! oh btw for the first few days of orientation, meals will probably be provided by the sch iirc

We live in woodlands too. Dd decide to take mrt . I am looking at this option too but a direct train serve well too cause we live next to mrt station

If it's purely for sch work then it shld be enough but if you plan to store other things like music, photos or games then it definitely won't be enough!

Thanks for the reply. I understand that the MRT is very congested in the morning, and most mornings my kid will just stand throughout his journey to Boon Lay MRT, then take a bus to the RV gate.

not really...if u board the train at woodlands it will be normally empty..
train only start to get pack around CCK station
