I refer to the balloting history of clementi and Nan Hua Primary. One thing I dont understand ;;; how do i interprete the Phase 2c ?

Clementi Primary 110% and 100 %

and Nan Hua 314 % and 100% ......what does the 110 % and 314% mean ...does it mean at end of Phase 2C all got in ???? :?:

[Luanee]

Chixchix, let’s refer to 2008 phase 2C stats:

Clementi pri has 139 applicants vying for 126 places. Hence if you divide 139 by 126, you get 110%. Out of this 139 applicants, MOE didnt disclose how many are within 1km, or 1-2km or out of 2km, but finally all staying within 1km got in as it conducted balloting for 1-2 km.

NanHua has 88 applicants vying for 28 places, hence you get 314%. Not sure how many of these 88 are within 1km, but finally they conducted balloting for those staying within 1km, hence all staying out of 1km do not stand a chance at all.

If you want the details of how many were within 1km and such, probably you should call up the school to enquire.

:? wah like that if i am staying 1.337 km to Nan Hua means I should forget about it ???

Read the earlier part of this thread. You should be able to find some parents with NHPS' parent support group that you may be able to exchange PMs with.

hi irisnet ,

if u SAHM . , you can choose long hour duty , like children's day , sports day , big event in school , a least 4,5 hrs . 1) regular activities which needs PV help .eg ,buddy reading ,librarian duty ,canteen duty or help out in school excursion. 2) ad-hoc activities eg , during P1 registration ,excurision during school holiday , special school event lise sports day teacher's , children's day ,carnival day etc......Usually the school will have a cgannel of communcation to the PV group so when need.

you can try to find previous PV of the school to understand how the system works , also when you sign up for PV, talk to the person-in-charge to see if you can dig out more information about what kind of ' duties ' are thrown out to the PV group . or PM me

i understand that if you have IT background or skills , it would be a advantage and the Principal is interested in school projects managing a project from A to Z ( includes funding if there's shortage ) eg , can be science project , aviary project or any kind of project .

Nan Hua Primary NOT affiliated to any association or clan.

Well that was from my experience .Hope this helps . :celebrate:
