Yeah, think I will just go by myself later during the day to get the necessary.

      Thanks.
I asked ds if he wants me to follow him to school tomorrow and he was like NO. So yes might be good to go later 😉 if not your ds feel awkward.

        Hi all,

Based on experience, there isn't really a need to bring a charger as the battery is enough to last for the day but most students bring it anyway.

No need to bring books as the first day will have a welcoming ceremony (as written in my timetable) and some other orientation activities. The form teachers would let your son's know more tomorrow 🙂

Looking forward to see the new students tomorrow and I hope they enjoy their time in MSHS :boogie:

I have made the MacAir order online. Finally decided to go with Air due to longer battery life. Anyone knows if our DS will collect their new toy in school?

I have selected cheque payment. Do we pass it to the boy to make the payment on collection day?

          Thanks.

Today and next week will be mainly orientation activities. Today they are briefed on the admin stuff eg handphone rules/ lockers/ class committee, etc they also learnt school song and creed.

For Monday, It will be white shirt, white shorts, singlet and tie. They are supposed to go to school in tie (according to ds).

              Monday should end at 1.15pm.

Collection should be in Feb according to vendor.

I have made payment. If you refer to \"express counter\" in the form, if you pay by 6/1, your ds will be able to collect the MacBook in feb when it is ready. It is like they will get it first when it is available. For others who choose to pay later eg upon collection, think they will wait for payment clearance before collection.

This is my impression based on what I heard from vendor. So the difference is when the MacBook can be collected. But frankly I don't know what is the difference in lead time between the 2.

My son was transferred out from MSHS. I have bought school uniform and most of the books and willing to let go at 1/2 price. His shirt size is 18 and pants 34. He is about 1.67m tall. Let me know if anyone is interested

Thanks for the info. Will contact vendor on Monday to make arrangements.

Btw, did your DS tell you when the class timetable will be out? Mine has no idea.

I went to their school website to look at their calendar events for 2015. It seems that this year sec 1 is taking Life Environment Science and Public Speaking on a rotation basis.

Any seniors can provide more info?

                      Hi sexyviper,

My DS only has the timetable for Term 1 Week 1 which is available on the google doc site. Reckon the rest of timetable will probably be uploaded later.
