Iโ€™ve been taking EPO for over a year now. I have a long history of gynae problems including endometriosis, polyps in uterus and painful periods. After taking EPO, my period has since become more regular (27-28 days) and not that painful any more. My gynae also said EPO is good and that I can even take up to 2 soft gels a day (iโ€™m taking 1 each day of 1000mg).

I also bought some bai feng wan which is also supposed to regulate menses but not sure if I can take it and EPO at the same time.

As for fibroid, what I heard was that itโ€™s the birdsโ€™ nest which will promote its growth.

Hi Minnie, wow, looks like EPO has helped u too. As for me, I started taking EPO because I used to suffer from eczema but after being on EPO for so long, that is under control now. I also find that EPO helped to regulate my time of month, so quite happy that this supplement is working out for me

My gynae prescribed EPO too. Never gave a thought to RJ, but did you say it's got rejuvenating benefits???

I take glucosamine because I used to be a manic exerciser and must have worn my knees down. But recently heard that it's very important for lectin absorption (the blood type theory. Very ma fan, but I'm a believer).

ya... supposed to have anti-aging properties and gives us energy. Just do a quick google search on \"benefits of RJ\", tons of articles there. I've provided one link for your convenience, http://thenaturalshopper.com/royal_jelly.htm

                  Sigh......i'll look 10 years older since I can't take EPO....sad sad...

:rotflmao: alamak... don't say that lah!! Gives u a good excuse to go for facials... body massage... shopping for skincare products.... and most importantly => think happy thoughts!!

Ok- I'll try your last suggestion first (ie think happy thoughts) cos it's the cheapest. Will see whether it works, if not...hmmm...then cut down on my food and holidays for facials, more potent and more expensive skincare..hor.

I heard that for EPO, if you have fibroids, then you shouldn't take as it will encourage the growth of the fibroids ? Is it true ?

I believe so. I found out that I have a small fibroid around 7 yrs ago. Before then, I was taking EPO (dermatologist recommended that due to my serious eczema). I was also taking bai feng wan. I did alot of internet reading and apparently, for some women, health supplements and chinese tonics which are good for our hormones, that can \"bu3\" us such as EPO, bai feng wan, dang gui can stimulate growth of fibroids. I stopped taking them and during confinement, I also made sure I didn't \"bu3\" too much. The fibroid only grew a little bit since then. Phew!

I have a friend who was diagnosed with a large fibroid. My 1st qn to her was whether she was taking EPO. Yes, she was taking for many years.

sob sob! i also feel very sad that I can't take EPO because I also want to look 10 yrs younger. My friend's mum has been taking EPO for many many years. She's in her early 60s and she also looks at least 10 yrs younger.

I feel that they are more effective and cheaper than facials/ skincare as they are directly absorbed into our body.

Think I will try out Royal Jelly.
