arts or sci? :D
science
if youre going to acjc ill see you there!lesleer:
Thanks guys...
I guess ESIP for me is supposedly prestigious until i hit the D7 for HMT, ruined my doors to many places..even teacher knew I studied...what a shame.
I will still try to appeal into VJC sci and pray the school give me a chance for my raw score....
Other than that, I should be picking ACJC over TJC
Unless TJC sci is stronger than AC's science

Eldest Daughter:
I got a C5 for HMT :yikes: but plan to enter yllsom, will this C5 then affect my chances of getting in and will this also cause me to be prejudiced against people who score better than me in HMT but score the same with me in the other subjects for A levels?
HMT score doesn't matter much in your application to yllsom. What's more important is how you do in the interviews once you've made it to that round. -
Hello! I have a net l1r5 of 8 after deducting 2points (cca). I am deciding between nyjc and catholic . I want to put nyjc as my first choice but Iām 1 mark higher than the cop for science (7) and just at the cut off point for the arts course (8)
However for o level, I took combined science (phy, chem) , though I manage to score an a1, I believe it will be difficult to have 2 h2 science subjects.
These are the subjects I took in o lvl:
Eng(b3)
combined humanities(a2)
Combined science (phy,chem) (a1)
Maths (a1)
Amaths (a2)
Chinese (a1)
Pure geography (a2)
I want to do a hybrid subject combi in Jc.
So when Iām doing the jae exercise, do I put both course for nyjc as my first two choice? Than catholic. -

Is there an official announcement about this? Why should having F.Maths as an additional subject be so fearful? Some students will welcome it, I'm sure. But if a student takes 2 Maths and needs a contrasting subject, that means they can only take 1 science? Or will they be allowed not to have a contrasting subject?next year 2016 (10 years later, from 2006) :-
\"A\" level syllabus going to change.
one of the changes involve : bringing back F Maths to A level.
This year batch of 2015 JC1 students admitted -
is the last batch, remain unaffected. (escape)
next year 2016 JC1 students :
will be impacted, by the new A level syllabus content change(s), coming up. -
Moe will announce, in due time.
just illustrating an example, nothing to be fearful about.
Did I say something fearful about F Maths, in my earlier post ?
I did not, right ?
Pls read again carefully.
I am just sharing info heard from Principal of A Junior college.
It is you who introduce & use the word "fearful".
I did not
