Itβs interesting Iβve a totally opposite prob with my girl. Her handwriting is so big and neat like that of a primary oneβs, touch the top line touch the bottom line! I want to faint! I hv to tell her to write smaller, there is no time in PSLE to write so big!

when mine was in lower primary, it was really upper case and lower case alphabets. then when she moved up to mid-primary, the 'y', 'g' had very long and curly tails. now at p5, the 'd' looks like 'a' :slapshead: I don't care, I mark her answers as 'wrong'. -
My dd used to ignore my nagging about sleeping early when she was in P6 (she used to sleep past 10.30 pm), until I showed her articles from the net that say having enough sleep is important for pre-teens and teens if they want to grow taller cos research shows that more growth hormones will be released between 10 pm to 2 am. She wanted to grow taller so thereafter was quite diligent in going to bed early.

ya and den she cry yes is nest but who can see so small like ant haiz really don want to overstress her i think end up i go :siao:mummy OnABudget:
janet my dd is de same her writing need magnifying glass then can see >< i been trying n reminding her to write bigger
my daughter's handwriting changes every year :slapshead:
in the past, letters were big and straight...now it is so small and untidy I don't bother to figure out...so I mark them as WRONG. then she starts throwing a tantrum. that's when I told her to write bigger and neater or she will be penalized heavily during PSLE. -
Just wondering if all these supp classes are really necessary? Do the teachers really teach or go through extra materials? Pr just catch up on teaching, what is the value add?
On average how many supp classes does your p6 child has to take? Mine so far 2 supp classes announced. with higher Chinese and CCA, seems need to stay back 4x a week

4 days compulsory supplementary. 1 day CCA.
For students who are selected for remedial, they need to stay back another 1hr to 1.5hrs AFTER supplementary lessons, depending on the subject teachers. -

That is a lot of staying back. DD only needed to stay back for 1 day for supplementary class last time. This year to date only know that she needs to stay back for Chinese supplementary class.
