        - MBS have
        tingxie : 6 sentences
        moxie : 1 sentence

        - hoo P2 dd school (Compassvale primary) have
        tingxie : 4 sentences
moxie : 2 sentences (for CL students) + 1 more extra sentence (for HCL students)

        - Rgps have
        tingxie : 8 to 10 (4 sentences + another 4 to 6 short phrases)
        no moxie

Any one knows for P2 swimming lessons during PE, what type of swimwear do we have to get for the girls? Regular swimming costume (i.e. those like adults/sleeve less types) or those with sleeves ones (not thermal swimwear) are also ok?

Any P2 parent here? I’m a bit confused with the letter from the school. So the girls go to sch in their swimming costume, and wear the PE attire over it, and then the pinafore over? Won’t it be hot? And if need to go toilet before swimming lesson…quite troublesome, right?

For P2 PE swimming lesson : can go to school that day, wearing :-

                      - 1 piece swim suit inside.
                      Not 2 piece (bikini type)

If can, buy those 1 piece swim suit that come with long sleeves, to prevent the arms of your dd, from getting dark, as the sun is very hot.

                      - wear PE T-shirt & shorts, outside.
Fold the pinafore neatly, put inside a plastic bag.
Sew your dd name & class, on both PE T-shirt and shorts, in case they get mixed up, with another classmate.

When reach the pool, remove PE-T shirt, shorts.
                      fold them up, neatly.

swimming coaches there will assess you, assign you to join which group (Elementary or Beginners / Intermediate / Advanced group)
At the end of lesson #12 (last lesson) :
P2 pupils take an assessment swimming test.

                      bring following
                      - goggles
                      - swimming cap (if have)

                      - sun block lotion
(the sun during 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm time frame : is scorching hot.
Clementi public pool is outdoor type, not in-door type that got shelter, shade)

                      - shampoo, bath lotion
                      - towel
                      - comb
                      - rubber band (those who need to tie up their long hair)
                      - slippers

                      - change of underwear
                      - talcum powder
                      - plastic bag, to put wet stuff like swimming suit

                      - biscuit / some finger licking food or packed light sandwiches
(in case they hungry after the swim, can nibble on their way back to school, inside the school bus)

                      - small thermos flask (holick / milo : in case they feel cold, after the swim)

swim 1 hour, inside the water.

                      No need to bring float.
The professional swimming coaches there, will provide

Actually, after asking my question, I had a thought…it might be quite hot underneath all that attire. So probably the regular 1-piece swimsuit might be better afterall. hehs…
