thks for the infor cheerful_dino

i asked DS again for the CCA date, he doesnt seem to know, either he didnt hear it or he wasnt paying attention.
had told him 23 jan will be the result of CCA.

yup, i had selected through the school website.

DS is slowly making new friends, he is a bit slow in warming up due to his shy character.
but so far, he likes the school 🙂

Hi chloecube,

Did your child get his other preferred choice of CCA other than basketball ?

My child's CCA training is 3x weekly . Hope he is able to manage both schoolwork & CCA ^_^

yes, thank you cheer_dino.he managed to get what he wanted:)
his CCA is once a week.

your child is in the sport team? i saw from website sport training is quite regular.

btw, do you know if the CCA is starting this week or following?
Hi Chloecube,

My child's CCA(sports) training starts this week. Not sure about uniform groups or performing arts...

hope you don't mind a student from dunman sharing my current experience at the school ...

from the first day i reported to the school for registeration, i really liked how the students were informative and polite even if you badger them with questions, and from that day onwards i knew dunman would be a nice school with caring students.

i get along very well with my classmates, most of the students are caring and polite but there are definitely some black sheep around but i have yet to encounter such. i believe dunman is also quite disciplined considering that they're very strict on behaviour and attire (checks are conducted on monday). the teachers are very caring too and try the best of their ability to teach...

overall i am really liking my experience in dunman so far, and i think it is a good choice. as for ngee ann, their facilities are way more superior than dunman's and i think the education there might be better. i believe that dunman is a good choice if your child can't get into ngee ann's express classes as N(A) classes are only available to ngee ann primary students if i am not wrong. however, NT is available for non-affiliated students.

strongly recommend that you visit the open house once it's time to see what dunman has to offer and to experience how it's like, you should go for the ngee ann open house too and decide from there 😄
