Thank you so much Mama of 2. May i know the process. Do we need to submit all certificaties. Do the girl need to go for audition? We need to submit for DSA after prelime results?

          Thank you for your help.

how many times per week did your dd practise ballet last time, in SCGS Sec (dsa) ?
            how's the commitment level ?
what if her feet, toes tired, or body ache from bending, stretching : still need to dance ?
each ballet practice in SCGS Sec : 1 or 2 hrs ?

do they only dance strictly ballet, or also include tap dancing, or include Chinese cultural dance steps, or include Modern dance steps, as well ?

on what other school occasson(s) do they perform in, besides at SYF ?
Have anyone come across boys in ballet classes (in SG)?
Yes, though not very popular. I saw a boy in another class when I brought my DD to her ballet lessons. The only rose among the thorns :)
The boy must be in high demand worh! Hahaha kidding kidding 😄

Anyone has any recommendations for baby ballet, in the east area? Anyone went to Le Grand (Tampines) before? Spoke to the counter but they seemed very busy and could not get much info from them.

Dear all, I'm WC. I very new to this forum and join here.... like to enquire your opinion.. My daughter is coming 3 in this coming Sept 2015. I think of letting her learn ballet, will that be too early? or when is the suitable age to let her start off?

which school can I lookout for? as i come from Low-mid income family, so would be great if the lesson fee is not too expensive. Normally how much is the lessons fee on average?

I always heard people say that when child are young, it better to start off as early as possible....so this come to my mind

Appreciate your all output...:) thanks .....

                    Best regards....

Hi, you could try look at ballet classes offered by community centers near your house. Usually they are cheaper. No harm trying ballet out to gauge her interest. My girl started ballet at 37months old. She could follow instructions although there were some exercises (e.g. lifting one leg off the ground while balancing on the other leg) that she didnt manage to do until a few months later. No harm giving it a go 🙂
