I don’t know, my kids are 7 and 16mo, girl and boy. I’m always naked in my room coz that’s what I’m comfortable with.


They comes from my body, suckled at my breasts. I don’t see why I need to hide from them.

If they themselves think mommy is gross being naked, they would cover their ow eyes in future.

Not sure if it’s because most of us parents came from an era where our parents refrained from being physically expressive, somehow the concern of inculcating modesty does pop up when I am partially dressed or undressing infront of the kids. Yes, it’s a nagging thought, but eventually, it all boils down to how we teach the children the fine line between being intimate with each other, and modesty.

ehh…just some personal thoughts…We grew up without internet and assumed sex education is deprived because the knowledge is rarely available. Kids born after 90s grow up with internet so there is nothing they can’t see and know. I think is more important to instill respect of opposite genders’ sexual characteristics than flaunting in front of them assuming it is normal to be naked in the presence of others.

My daughter and I bathe together…maybe still ok since she is still young. But my hubby refuses to bathe at same time with son.

I think daughter mother, father son bathe together is acceptable. Mother can teach daughter what is outrage of modesty and how to protect their body. I find it uncomfortable for father to change diaper and bathe daughter though.

My mom bathe my 2 year younger brother and me together when we were young. I still find it uncomfortable whenever I recalled that. :oops:

I know of a man who brags how his 8 year old son is aroused by his mother's breasts. He is proud of how his son loves to fondle his mother's breasts and feeling sexually aroused. He claimed that is man's instinct. This man is lecherous and disrespectful with female colleagues at work place. I can't help to feel disgusted at the thought of him being naked in front of his daughter. Fortunately, he doesn't have a daughter.

Being naked in front of kids aren't really big deal for parents but it could have an impact for kids when they are not ready.
