Dino mummy:
What I meant was that by looking at the form teachers of the P6 classes, you can sort of tell that not only the best classes get the best teachers. Of course, one needs to drill further to support or bust this 'myth'.Hi QMS,
I dun understand the part of looking at P6 FTs this year....what huh? curious...
I think you are more experienced than I am. Do you think that the best classes get the best teachers?
Btw, Dino mummy, which school is your DS1 in? If it is inconvenient for you to disclose it here, please PM me. Thanks. -
Hi
Any of your child in P3I this yr? Thanks. -
qms:
I dun noe how to explain wat is gd teachers, different people different opinion...i would said the experienced teachers are taking the better classes during DS1 time (p2-p6, thete were best classes during his time rt fr p2). Last yr, he had Head of subj as teacher, a snr tr as FT, an experienced science teacher.

This yr, I noticed a teacher who used to be the best class FT was returned to take 6m. Last yr, she was not 6m or 6A2 FT. Not sure why or wht there is any particular reason.
My DS1 is with Sch of Science & Technology, SST. -

Ok. Maybe we shouldn't use P6 teachers as examples because P6 is a \"special\" level.I dun noe how to explain wat is gd teachers, different people different opinion...i would said the experienced teachers are taking the better classes during DS1 time (p2-p6, thete were best classes during his time rt fr p2). Let's look at form/co-form teachers of other levels. I see a teacher:
1. who used to take one of the best classes now taking A class;
2. who used to take one of the beat classes now is a co-form teacher of a I class;
3. who is a senior teacher of a subject now taking a A class;
4. who used to take one of the best P6 classes now taking a D class.
So, is there a trend? I don't know. But, like what the principal said previously, all the students contribute toward the school's overall performance. It doesn't make sense for the school to concentrate only on a few top students. These top students, no matter how well they score in PSLE, are not able to push the school's overall standard up.
I do know that quite a number of teachers have left. So, perhaps this could be a reason behind what you observed? -
As the class sizes open up in P3 (more students in the class compared to P1 and P2), I was wondering if it is difficult to transfer into Radin Mas for that level. Thank you.

Hi, not sure if anyone here meeting the same problem. Some of the school consent forms in the snaapp are unable to launch, keep giving blank page and closed. I've try launching in several different mobile devices, still seeing same problem. Can't even submit reply for the parents briefing session.

Same here. Wonder if it has anything to do with the expiry date. Checked the notification logs and saw that the consent forms have an expiry date of 6 Feb, which is earlier than the dates stated in the notification. :slapshead:
The deadline for the briefing is today. Anyway, the school did not take attendance for the past years. -

I have long given up on this IT thing. Have been using the old fashioned way. :oops: -

In that case, guess I just walk-in on that day.
Thanks.
