I think it depends on whether your child has been exposed to HYPY or not, I guess slowly they will get the hang of it! If u are worried, then enroll in some enrichment class? -

If you did not prepare your child for Han Yu pin yin (hypy) when he / she was in K2 : child feel over whelmed, since first time getting exposed. May enrol your child into some intensive hypy crash course, since now only Term 1, still can catch up.We are really struggle with my kid P1 Hanyu pin yin in Maha BOdhi.

Hypy will be tested regularly, from P1 Term 1 into P2 Term 4. -

Can anyone advise about the balloting history for MBS for last year’s batch? I was trying to see the link in this website but somehow doesn’t seem to load on my PC…
I want to put my son in MBS next year (2009 bb) and I’m an old girl, so I think we’ll be registering in Phase 2B2?
How does the whole process go? What should I look out for and get prepared for?

As you are an old girl, you should be registering in 2A1 if you had joined the alumni. If not, you register in phase 2A2, which does not make much difference. So far there is no balloting at phase 2A if I remember correctly.Hi,

Phase 2A : no balloting involved, for MBS.
Phase 2A include
- Phase 2A1 : alumni members of MBS
- Phase 2A2 : old (boys & girls) of MBS
balloting only for Phase 2C : less than 1 km, for SC
SC more than 1 km, or PR : no chance (under Phase 2C)
