Hi all, I was charged $200 per month for ONE WAY after school to Serangoon road! I found out about the GIRO deduction of $360 in Jan15 and $240 for Feb15 was for just Jan, Feb and June!

This is ridiculous and I have instructed the bank to cancel the GIRO immediately!

I strongly advise all parents who use the school bus to check the amounts deducted and to instruct your bank to set a limit on how much RUI FENG bus is allowed to deduct from your account!

How much was you quoted initially? They just made the second deduction for Feb 2015.

I was quoted $85 initially, so I did not check the deduction transaction at all, until this month. This kind of action is criminal as I did not agree to any increase!

Please go and check your respective bank statements and see if they made unauthorized deductions

Do you stay very far, from your school ?

If nearby, then is over-charged for 1 way

Drop off at Little India MRT, not very far. Was told all who stay around there were charged $200. Ridiculous. Have terminated the service. But the important point for all to note is to check your GIRO deductions and set a limit for it by calling your bank (was told they can set the limit immediately by OCBC).

I was quoted $120 for 2 way and now they charge $200. Still thinking what’s the alternative. Did you talk to the school?

I think the school would have to take their pricing as the rest are probably not badly affected. Have told them to terminate my contract from March. They are really blood suckers, and I don’t trust them to look after my son well if they dare to increase prices as and when they like

I think our route is affected as they are using small bus for this route.

The big buses’ fare would not increase as much because there are more students to share the costs.

For GIRO, it should be Jan deduct for Jan + Jun, Feb deduct for Feb alone. Total deductions for 3 months. Dec one will be deducted with Jul one.
