      Essential:
I am referring to the pink shoe . it depends on sizes too. I bought from Novena ballet school. Not the character black shoe.

Any one need a character skirt? too small for my gal . selling it at cheap price.
Sonata sells at Katz pink ballet shoes at same price of $26.20 ($24.50 before GST) and Bloch Prolite pink ballet shoes at $42.25 ($39.90 before GST) regardless of size. Maybe Novena ballet shoes buy from other suppliers whom have higher mark-up.

Different ballet schools have slightly different character dresses (the shades of pink/ blue/ etc may be different), so it may be better you check with your DD juniors from the same school.

        Essential:
My gal exam date is on 11 April . I just help her sew the ribbon on the \"pink\" new shoe . Ribbon cost $4.00 for a pair. It's for exam use. And the gals must know how to tide the ribbon since grade 3

Good that your DD test date falls on a Saturday. My DD is 13 April - needs to rush her from school and skip lessons - mad rush :stompfeet:

Your DD is from Novena ballet school? I think its prices are really expensive because my DD ballet teacher charges Sonata's prices also. But I prefer to buy from Sonata because I can buy a size bigger (ballet teacher always buy just right which my DD outgrown very fast!)

Not to late to find out :rahrah: Afterall, she's only G4 and has a long way to go. Going forward, she will be so happy to wear brand new ballet shoes at only 1/2 the price.

All ballet grades exams are around same timing - April. Your ballet teacher should have receive the exam dates from RAD so it is good to check with her. Few ballet teachers prefer to reveal the dates after the \"Open House\" which parents are invited to \"see\" the progress of their child and briefed of the exam dates and points to take note for the examinations (e.g. no accessories, reporting time etc.)

Just like piano exams, the ballet exam dates are not in order of the grades i.e. for a particular date, there may be exams for Grade 1 in the morning, Grade 2 in early afternoon, Grade 4 in late afternoon etc.

Jiayou, let's wish our girls all the best for their ballet examinations next month.

Bleeding and bruises I heard is very common doing pointe!
