      To ParkYuni:

Yes that is true. In my class, many of my classmates were unable to cope with amaths and they had to drop it. As for ss, it was a real struggle for most of us and the average was about a c6 in sec3. However, most of my classmate received a distinction for combine humanities in the O'levels though.

Hi Violetvices, may I know if you were from one of the pure science classes? I am curious to know if they were also struggling with A maths.

Congratulations to your class for the excellent results in combined humanities in the 'O' Levels.

Yep, I took pure sciences, though not triple science. Yes, many of my classmates also struggled with amaths and some dropped. But I have heard stories of how some students studied very hard that their grades improved from f9 to A2 in the O'Levels. So I guess if you study really hard, it shouldn't be a problem.

        From F9 to A2!
        This is very encouraging.
Yes, I remembered the last A maths prelim was very tough.

I haven't heard of many Biology tuition teachers also. It will be quite expensive nowadays to get a private tutor. I thought Biology notes from the school will be good enough to memorise, and the textbooks also? Ask the school teachers for help directly 😂

                Thanks Aaven88.
Yes, I agree that the tuition fees are indeed very expensive.
The Bio notes from school and textbook look sufficient but my dd is very weak in the area of 'application' so I am thinking of getting someone to help her on a regular basis. :imdrowning:

I need valuable feedback on how good this school is especially in academics? Are the teachers passionate enough? What are the values the school will inculcate to a young growing girls? Please enlighten me and do let me know how do they band the girls in year 1, according to results or via CCA?
