If DS1 got into ACS secondary, be it ACSI or ACSB.
Does it means that DS2 will have a seat in P1 even though we stayed outside of 1-2km radar correct?
The sibling phase comes before clan or 2C, am I right?

Privilege for Phase 2A : nothing to do with Secondary schools like ACSI not ACSB.
Only if your husband ever studied in 2 Primary schools (ACSB or ACSJ) before, then qualify / eligible. But not from Secondary schools.

No, u can't choose.
Must come from that particular primary school that he had ever studied in, before : either ACS junior or Barker primary.

Not the Secondary school.
Secondary school don't count

See what is the name appearing on his primary school report card.
This will be the primary school that u can register your child into, via phase 2A.

Yes, enrol your son into ACS Junior, under Phase 2A.


At end of P3 : there is a screening Gep test.
If he can clear 2 round of Tests, he has priority to transfer into ACS Barker primary, for (P4 to P6) Gep curriculum programme.

If we buy or rent a property within 1km of ACSP, we will register under phase 2C. Just would like to check, based on 2014 record, did all the applicants within 1km secure places in ACSP?


My husband was from ACS Secondary but not ACSP. Therefore, we are not qualified to register under phase 2A.

a) ACS (Barker) primary (Methodist school)
Phase 2B : 32 vacancies, 35 registered

Phase 2C : 30 vacancies, 54 registered
balloting required for SC, outside 2 km

so i guess if you are within 1km and ur child is SC, theres no need for balloting if you are under phase 2C.

everything depend on luck.
a lot of them rent a unit and try their luck, but I would say that, ACSJ stand a better chance. therefore, pls rent a unit that was within 1km between jnr and barker, at least u ve alternative choice.
