Everyone is a supermom here.Hi E3, Thanks!
U hv 3 and u are stil v in control of yr gal's work and keeping yr sanity! Supermom u are one.
We planned it such a way that every half a day, I have only 2 girls at home. With my helper, one adult to one girl so quite manageable. In the mornings, I have my eldest and youngest, in the afternoon, I have my no 2 and my youngest. As for keeping my sanity, well...not so during school hols. I go a little crazy. Haha. Used to plan hol outings or visits too when I had only two but now with a no 3, it's a little tricky. Don't want to let the youngest miss out on all the fun too!
I know sooner or later, they will all be in the am session but by then, I hope the elder ones are old enough to \"move\" on their own.
I have only girls so they somehow do have some common interests so can play quite well together.
Quick note: For P1 Chinese pp1, they are required to write sentences too. For SA1, you are allowed to use hanyupinyin for characters that you do not know. There will be 5 picture sentences. For SA2, all characters, no hanyupinyin is allowed - 10 sentences: 5 picture sentences and 5 phrases sentences. -

Many were caught unawares for P1 SA1 Math. My daughter managed the 90s range. Still, after that, I let her do more higher-order-thinking questions as those were the ones she was not so exposed to then. I overlooked this area last SA1, thinking that the school would not be so 'mean' to the P1s but well...I underestimated the school's standard. :slapshead: Learnt my lesson so was anticipating the 'higher' standard for CA1 this year. Somehow, for SA2, the papers were 'kinder' and probably everyone would be more prepared by then.
DS did badly for SA1 last year, only managed 80. This CA1, also did badly again thanks to tons of careless mistakes :x
Yes, same group! How did you know the names of the teachers? As usual, i'm super bochap
i hope DS doesn't fall into the \"loud\" ones!
I didn't know the names until you asked which class she was in. I asked my dd and she told me. Haha. She enjoys the class and is pretty enthusiastic. The booklet of activities is quite interesting too and they expected them to do them with their dads! Haha...I don't have to bother for once.
In order to get a role, you just have to speak louder. My dd lost the most coveted role to two girls who could project their voices better during the try-outs. Now, she knows the trick. She is going to try out another role which she has just decided. My girl is usually LOUD at home but in school, she gets self-conscious. GIRLS...
I was wondering got such thing as \"no vacancy for return\"?!?! The school bus planning must be very poorly done!
There were a couple of days whereby one of the upper primary kids stayed back for CCAs or supplementary classes and took the evening bus home. I managed to \"squeeze\" my dd in because seat belts were not installed yet and the \"smaller\" size ones could be packed like sardines.
This year, with the seat belts installed, they took in lesser P1s and as my dd had been taking the school bus last year, she simply carried on taking this year. Next year, I may only let her take the return trip unless I learn to drive. :nailbite: I realised, driving her there takes only 5-10 mins via the expressways!! -
The existing sch bookshop vendor is clearing stock at discounted price. The sale is on selected Fri only. Do check if your child has brou back a slip on this sale details. For PE t-shirts, do remember some mums bou the house brand whose colour runs. I thought the sch socks are a bargain deal.

Hi Ladies,
I received the note from my son last Friday...this batch of PE tops do not have good quality. But at $5, I don't want to bother too much, just have wash separately.
Careless mistakes take up a big bulk of marks...kids don't realize that when an exam is set 'easier', they tend to let down their defences and don't bother to check.
My son had 2 open-ended comprehension passages for CA1...the HOD wanted to sieve out the better ones
I'm getting him to practice more this time and choose the more difficult ones too for SA1. -
The sale is still on? I received the memo a couple of weeks back. Nothing on Fri. I had already bought the discounted T-shirts and socks. Yes, good deal.

Why not? My dd didn't receive the latest memo, her classmate also didn't. Maybe they give out in batches? That time, even the exercise books and compo books were discounted. How about now? I had many from a friend's P2 son who transferred out in Jan so didn't get those. If not, those were good deals too!E3:

Mummies,
If your kids are in lower primary, no harm getting the PE tops. As for younger kids going P1 next year, it may not be a good idea since you wonβt know which house they will be under. -
One of her p2 friends, not her classmate, received the 50% offer too. Strange. Just got some dates from her. Maybe my dd was missed out, somehow. I may get more socks since she changes daily and they seem to loosen or wear out quite fast.
