      dimsum:

Jennifer, the GP who did your blood test didn't ask you to stretch out your hands?
      No, he did not.

But I did notice once or twice the spoon in my hand sometimes seemed to be shaking slightly and my handwriting is getting uglier.

Symptoms for hyperthyroidism include: hand tremors, rapid weight loss due to high metabolism rate, feel hot, temper flares, fatigue. They happen bcos the thyroid gland releases too much hormones.

My hubby is very bad, when my temper flares up too often, he will say, \"I think your thyroid problem is back, better see the doctor.\"

my hubby is no better. when my temper flares, he says it is strange that I have this problem when I do not have a thyroid gland

              hi dimsum,

Yes, 5 sisters and the list is not exhaustive šŸ™‚
thought you were referring to sisters with blood relation šŸ˜‰
My 5th sister also has graves disease. When she first told me over sms, I'd thought she meant 'gravely' disease and asked her 'Do you have cancer?'

She asked me to google for autoimmune disease and I said 'it sounds good. Can automatically immune you from disease'.
:rotflmao: ya, the name is deceiving

I have been having phlegm in the morning. Have to use a lot of strength to spit it out.

These few days, the phlegm comes out with some blood. I do not know whether the blood is from brushing teeth or from the throat.

Same for clearing the mucus in the nose. There is some spots of blood.

hmm ... whatever do you mean by that? My sisters are related to me by blood. We are even born to the same parents. I'd meant I don't just have 5 sisters šŸ™‚ if I understand your post correctly.

But you are a woman and all women are 'entitled' to that time of the month that makes them flare up.

As far as I know, this is not a symptom for thyroid disorder.

Blood in phlegm could mean different things. My ex once experienced blood in his phlegm and the doctor straight away tested him for tuberculosis. Do let the doctor know about this and ask for the possibility/ies or reasons why this is happening.

The GP checked my lungs which are cleared.
