Actually I’m cracking mine too! Haha! Reason being, my DD wants to have a "horse/pony cake". I thought of simply bringing a horse picture to Sweet Secret and get it scanned, but that’s plain boring and secondly, don’t like Sweet Secret cakes. Have been trying to convince her to get a cake for taste and not for design and more specifically a horse/pony design, but to no avail (not surprising I guess since she’s only 7). If it’s a good cake you’re going for (and with a pretty design) then I’d say Patisserie Glace and The Patissier does really good ones. Blue Magnolia has good simple choc/vanilla sponge (their carrot cake is arguably one of the best in S’pore) but limited designs. The other thing about customising a design is that the cake has to be big, as in 2kg, that sort. DD’s birthday celebration is going to be small scale. I may try Island Creamery for ice cream cake. Can bring in own design and they’ll see whether it’s do-able. Charge extra of course.

Mango mousse cake for my father, very nicely decorated, thou tasted abit sour, but overall okay, the mango goes well with the soft sponge cake.

Try the cake from Havenbakery. The cake is so delicious. My daughter is so happy to see the Princess Cake that I have ordered for her. All her friends are so amazed by the Princess Cake.

Has anyone tried the cakes from pine garden? Heard lots of nice comments abt them. What flavour would be good for a 2 yr old birthday party?

Tried cupcake divinity. Her cakes are very nicely decorated but taste wise, it's compromised.
I agreed with jerejoy on cupcake divinity's cake. Ordered once for my girl's 1st birthday.. the design is very nicely decorated but the cake is really too dry...
