Hi expert, I need advise for the few questions below.

          1) I am planning to apply for PV for my son’s school of choice which is within 1 to 2 km from where we are staying. Last year this school requires balloting in Phase 2C for SC within 2km. If we fail to get in through P2B, are we allow to withdraw from our 1st choice school and register for our 2nd choice school which is within 1km for P2C?

          2) Usually what is the duration for registration between P2B to P2C?

          3) I heard that single session school will start in 2016 country wide, if so, will there be reduction of intake?

          Thanks.

            1) each phase is by itself you can apply for different school in different phases. If you fail at phase 2B you start all over again at phase 2c.

            2) phase 2B is normally over 2 days and phase 2c is over 3 days.

            3) no, school will go through rebuilding program where school are being rebuilt to add in more classroom to cater for all in a single session.

May I know If the school need to ballot and all the pv are within 1km …how does the school decide…? By actual distance…or by merits of the pv work? By draw lots? Or…?

As you have already said ... it by ballot, ie draw lots. The total numbers of hours clocked play no part in a higher chance. As long as you hit the minimum hours required by the school and received the PV completion letter from school, you will have a right to apply at P2B, thus to ballot if required. Distance is the same as every other phases using one map, within 1km, 1-2km and outside 2km, these 3 categories.

Yes. Unless changed policy. PV must submit cv like job application and interviews.
