Chaibf:
You may try calling moe to ask. My friend's school was also demolished but apparently demolished schools are also 'tagged' to another existing school in moe records. This was what she found out after calling moe.Can any parents advise, me and my husband are Singaporean but both of us primary school were demolished.
My son born in 2010 - so he will attend primary 1 in 2017.
What should I do? I stay somewhere in Commonwealth.
I planned to let my son get into Zhangde Primary / Alexandra Primary because my sister in law will help to take care of him after school - but both primary don't have PV scheme. Then i called up Fairfield Methodist, basically no chance for me even if I do PV.. now i very lost... Need help... what should I do? -

Who told you Zhangde does not take in PV? Someone just posted a comment on her experience as a PV in the school. Go read up in the school's http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1491015#p1491015. -
I dropped email and call up Zhangde. They replied me with official email.

Hi expert, I need advise for the few questions below.
1) I am planning to apply for PV for my son’s school of choice which is within 1 to 2 km from where we are staying. Last year this school requires balloting in Phase 2C for SC within 2km. If we fail to get in through P2B, are we allow to withdraw from our 1st choice school and register for our 2nd choice school which is within 1km for P2C?
2) Usually what is the duration for registration between P2B to P2C?
3) I heard that single session school will start in 2016 country wide, if so, will there be reduction of intake?
Thanks. -

1) each phase is by itself you can apply for different school in different phases. If you fail at phase 2B you start all over again at phase 2c.Hi expert, I need advise for the few questions below.

2) phase 2B is normally over 2 days and phase 2c is over 3 days.
3) no, school will go through rebuilding program where school are being rebuilt to add in more classroom to cater for all in a single session. -
May I know If the school need to ballot and all the pv are within 1km …how does the school decide…? By actual distance…or by merits of the pv work? By draw lots? Or…?

As you have already said ... it by ballot, ie draw lots. The total numbers of hours clocked play no part in a higher chance. As long as you hit the minimum hours required by the school and received the PV completion letter from school, you will have a right to apply at P2B, thus to ballot if required. Distance is the same as every other phases using one map, within 1km, 1-2km and outside 2km, these 3 categories. -
