      Jennifer:
      Hi,

like to gather some advices for a home printer that can print, copy, scan and fax and has wireless features.

The existing Brother MFC 490CW is encountering more paper jams problems these days.
my HP deskjet 2540 can print, scan and copy. also has Bluetooth. cannot fax. compact and value for money.

My liao pok gar canon printer also can scan, print and copy but cannot fax. Wireless too. This printer, when jam, almost all the time is because of the paper itself. Eg if the paper is not slot properly or if the paper is a little curved (like when you use recycled paper).

my printer needs lots of TLC and patience...or else the rollers will spoil.
very low end kind of printing...mostly for kids' schedules, photocopy some simple memos...scan very seldom.

The paper are new, not recycled.

just got the HP Envy all in one 5640. scan/copy/print but no fax - who uses fax these days? you can scan and email… and can print photos too!

                  and wireless connection too!

I have two bad experiences with HP printer, never again would I buy another HP printer 😉 I am just a stubborn senior-citizen-to-be 😂

There are people who still fax, the less IT savvy ones who grow up with fax machine, dunno how to use scan and email.

I prefer Canon printers over Epson ~ the latter is too noisy! Canon printers are much quieter, and prints with nice color distribution. More trustworthy … I think I used a HP a long time ago, but it didn’t last very long (it was a very cheap one) …
