My k1 boy is speaking English and barely mandarin, in fact, his mandarin is 'one piece one piece'. but but but, he speaks mainly in Singlish! should I sign him up for Morris Allen? cos I dun want him to speak in Singlish. And he tends to add 'lah' 'one' behind his sentences. :?

Could someone tell me if the native teachers are from Australia or elsewhere? I am concerned if my kids end up with Aussie ascent after attending this.

So far I came across those from Australia, New Zealand and US.
It is just once a week two hours class. The interactions are too minimal for the kids to pick up any foreign accent. -
Thanks, EN.
Would you know if there is any difference between MA and Lorna Whiston English enrichment program?
I am wondering which is better to send my kid to. She is in K1 this year. -
Hi Busymom
I find MASC at K1 level very interactive and fun to be in. However, might be a bit backward if your child’s kindergarten is teaching advance material. Try asking for a trial class and sit in. You will be able to judge if the lesson conducted is what your child needs and the teacher rapport with the kids.
Another thing to note is, if you feel that the level is a bit too low for your child, you can request for the child to be put in the next level subject to their testing.
Try reading through the earlier posting and you will be able to have a gauge what to look out for.
Not able to comment on Lorna Whiston cause never attended before.
