May I check if what is θ©ζδΉζ?
If I am not wrong, he/she is the model pupil for that term for a particular level, for example, the model pupil chosen out from the 11 model pupils in p1 level for term 1. Meaning each term would have one θ©ζδΉζ for each level.

Was reading the latest pop club magazine and just realised that one of the directors of Aspen tuition centre which specialise in IP tuition was DHS and MBS alumni. He also mentioned in the article that he just attended his dd's prize giving ceremony in MBS last year. No wonder he look so familiar!

Hi All,
My DD will be in P1 next year. I need some advice from the parents in this thread.
1. Is Maha Bodhi running AM & PM session?
2. If 2 sessions, P1 is in AM or PM session?
3. Does school have plan to move to a single session?
4. Is the school new or they have plan to renovate or expand?
Thanks in advance! -

Next year the school will still be running on 2 session. P1 and 2s in the PM session.
The school premises is only about 6-7 years old. There are plans to build another block to accommodate the p1 and 2s. H/w there is still no sign of them starting this expansion work. I am still waiting too
as I also have a p1 next year.

Hi lostbunny,
Thanks for answering my questions! Happy to know you also have a p1 next year! Who knows maybe our kids will be in the same class. Actually my idea timing is AM session so I will have more times to do homework together with her when I get back from work. I have been preparing my girl since young to sleep early and get up early. Haiz! Need to adjust her routine to sleep slightly later and wake up later.
I have another question. Do you know how school places p1 in which class? Do they do streaming at p1 or b4 p1? -

I think the placement into classes is randomly done. As for streaming, our school doesn't do that for p1s. Kids class would have been allocated when we go and do the paper work during the PSLE marking week. There was 1 year I saw that they tested the kids on reading during orientation but I think for this year's p1, it was done only when she opens. This testing is mainly to identify those who needs extra help on English. -
Hi all,
Iβm intending to put my son in MBS next year too.
However, I have yet to receive MOEβs letter for the P1 registration.
Any of you have received yet?
Thanks,
Carolina
