I tried the airlines website again and I actually can book from Singapore to Tokyo and returning from Osaka to Singapore.

I guess this should be fine? In this case, I will take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka.

      1) Is it inconvenient to go to Osaka(Kansai) airport ?
      2) Any city area to recommend to stay in Osaka? Other than Universal studios, any recommendation where to go?

      Hi i3mum

Can you share which airline did you check for Singapore to Tokyo and Osaka to Singapore? How much it is ?

      Thanks.

I came back this morning! ANA is very good considering the price I paid for the tix to Tokyo. $320 plus taxes. We book 2-3 wks before departure.

        I like ANA.

that's very cheap! how so and from where?
        tia,
        wendy

        We book thru ANA website.
        http://www.ana.co.jp/asw/index.jsp?type=e

Taxes are about $200++ so actually not very cheap.
The seats are also not v good...

I currently kinda boycott ANA liao.

I don't usually do Budget Airlines so I don't know how cheap are they. I paid under $620 in total and I have free baggage allowance of 46 kgs!
2x 23kgs. To me, that's a steal! but unfortunately, we were on bag packing trip so not much use to us.

On the way up, we were on B777, can't remember the exact model but the leg rooms were wide. Seats recline far back, there were no leg steps though. But on the way back, it was B777-200/300?? Seats could not recline as much as the previous. leg room were a tad narrower but with leg steps. TV screen were just like those on SQ. Programmes weren't plenty, mostly Japanese.

Food is good and service is pleasant, 2 meals (lunch/dinner + refreshments before touch down). Portion of meals were sufficient and a choice of Japanese or continental. Refreshments - a pastry/coffee/tea. Take off/landing were smooth.

ANA is a star alliance carrier, so perhaps you may be able to get points for krisflyer. I forgot mine, so I'm doing a retroactive mileage claim if available.

I'll post my meal pics later. *Note - Tix to Osaka and Tix to Tokyo differs (to Osaka is more ex during my purchase)

        My 2 cents

If u can come for the meetup event, it would be good.

I ever helped a couple save $600 off their travel by doing some slight adjustments to their schedule. 😃

                    Hi xueyan,

It is ANA. You have to select \"Multiple Cities\" on the website in order to choose the selected cities that you want to travel to and coming back from. We paid $3.1K for 2D3C for Dec period.

                      Hi,

I am planning to go to Japan F&E (Tokyo & Osaka) with our children (9 &10 yo) in Dec. May I ask if anyone can help to give me some recommendations?

                      1) Universal Studios in Osaka

                      2) We will go to Disney land & Disney Sea in Tokyo.

Any other places to recommend? How many days should we spend in each place (Tokyo & Osaka)?

                      3) We are looking for Indoor water theme park near Tokyo too. Any to recommend?

                      4) If you have an itinerary to share, please let me know!

                      Thank you in advance!
How long is your trip? If it is less than 7 days, just stick to one city. Tokyo Disney will need at least 2 full days already (3 is better).

May I check if there are any special deals for Tokyo Disneyland, Disney Sea and Universal Studios Japan tickets?
Any combo ticket or hotel with park tickets deals?
