When MOE first announced about the new schools joining IP, i followed the news with some interest.

The location of the new JC was not mentioned anywhere.

Was it officially mentioned somewhere (I can't seem to find) that the new JC will be in Bishan prior to the news article in 2014? -

I used to travel from thomson area to mt sinai. back at my time, either you take bus from along macritchie that stretch of road and alight just after holland v. It’s a short 5-10 mins walk in.
Or you take MRT and go one big round to Buona Vista. Those time there was no Circle Line. So gotta change train at Raffles Place. Today, there is direct train from Bishan to Buona Vista, less than 20 mins. And then another 10 mins stroll to Mt Sinai. -
