I went when my DS was K2. πŸ˜‰

      What is it about? Good?

I borrowed from the library last year and enjoyed the book. I'm thinking of buying a copy to keep. It's worth it so that as and when, I can refer to it.

Jialat....my dd's school has not started Chinese compo yet. But Berries has started \"training\" them. Just one picture and literally she needs to write with 3/4 paragraphs. But not every week though. So, I am training her to construct sentences.

As for English compo, her school only gets them to write Journal once a week. But it's ok, she is writing one compo almost every week at The Writer's Place πŸ˜“

But how to improve comprehension (both English and Chinese)? Any suggestion? I get her to do almost every week, but some answers still not there leh....very stress liao as I need to prepare her for Science this coming June. Yep, I'm a very KS mum.
Don't worry. The P2s pupils in Catholic High (Pri) have not started on Chinese Composition too.

                      this week is week 8.

my kid's school will return parents Term 2 all marked Tests papers for 3 subjects, by end of next Friday, because \"Parents Meet Tr\" Conference day is coming up, in week 10 (last week of Term 2). Our school practise this \"Parents Meet Tr\" twice a year : Mid year (June) and at End of Year (November, Term 4)

had already sent my kid to attend weekly Chinese pure compo δ½œζ–‡ class since beginning of Term 2 : so that come Term 3 (July), no need to \"cheong\" CL compo, but be natural \"work in progress\".

noticed that a number of P2 students in my kid's school, also doing similar thing.

in fact, inside the 作 ζ–‡ external tuition class :
some P1 kids are found sitting inside the same class, learning how to write together with the P2s, since this tuition class combine (P1 and P2) together, for 作 ζ–‡. These P1s happen to be those, whose Chinese standard quite high, since they are able to cope along with P2's Chinese standard.

Yes, there are some kiasu P1 parents that had already kicked off their P1 kid, into writing 作 ζ–‡. So what more for P2s like us, need to buck up, gather more speed

                      .

The Parent-Teacher-Meeting was crucial as I had a lot to learn indeed. Read a lot!!! This cannot be over-emphasized and it is going to get more challenging for the P2s. Sweat!!! 5 more months to go…and it will soon end this streaming for P2 to P3 nightmare in Nov.

                        How’s your PTM?
