For years, different batches have been using the RJC site without much issue, so why is it different this time? What is causing the angst and unhappiness?

It can't be that all the strawberries are from these 3 schools right? Think harder. There must be something more complex than just designating the affected students as \"strawberries\".

It is the loss of credibility and mishandling of a simple matter that resulted in this situation today.
      Yalor. Why har?

Maybe saying my DC study in the JC in Bishan more prestige than saying DC is studying on sua teng of Mt Sina. :scratchhead:

But I think some people want some heads to roll but can't seem to identify who is accountable. :scared:

Very well written snowyqueen! This is the kind of reasonable response I expect from any concerned parents or citizens . Without voicing all these concerns out, the matter would be closed with perhaps 2-3 official letters and history will repeat itself in other incidents and probably got worse each time. That's not the future SG100 anyone wants to see. Especially we are showing examples to the \" whatever-fruit-u-want-to-name it \" generation . If you call them strawberries , then what about the adults who caused the errors ?

Did you read the explanation given by MOE on pg 59 of this ksp? Why are you parents being so difficult to your govt? We are talking about a dynamic development of a complex infrastructure and hence inevitable to encounter unpredictable circumstances. It's not a simple error one can easily avoid. You have overshadowed a complex project by your BIG ME AND MY BIG DC. Stop telling your dc it's adults' mistakes. You aren't showing good example to your children. I am sure they can understand the situation better than their parents.
If one day, your DC is caught in a similar situation as an adult, is this the (unpardonable) kind of response you want for him from the public?

If you not a concerned parent, guess you won't know that it's our dc posing the question. Guess you didn't read the leters written by the students in the petition with the question marks in their head . And also is no coincidence that the defense is made so swift again !

And I am awed by \" dynamic development of a complex infrastructure\" and \" it's not a simple error one can easily avoid \". So you think there is a error ? By who if you care to share .

How do you suggest any DC should react when they make a mistake if any in future ?

                        .
I believe MOE has answered the students' queries yesterday and they have fully understood.

No swift defence :xedfingers: , no coincidence, we are witty people, just can think faster.

The error is probably character calculation error. Maybe at first they want to detour the line to JB then come back so that the new JC building won't be affected. Then they think gd schools pupils would have understanding parents so decided to run the line under the school...then the soil doesn't want to compromise...my answer can?

Mistake in future, they will be groomed by the new principal to know how to react. Not for us to worry?
