Very well written snowyqueen! This is the kind of reasonable response I expect from any concerned parents or citizens . Without voicing all these concerns out, the matter would be closed with perhaps 2-3 official letters and history will repeat itself in other incidents and probably got worse each time. That's not the future SG100 anyone wants to see. Especially we are showing examples to the \" whatever-fruit-u-want-to-name it \" generation . If you call them strawberries , then what about the adults who caused the errors ?
Did you read the explanation given by MOE on pg 59 of this ksp? Why are you parents being so difficult to your govt? We are talking about a dynamic development of a complex infrastructure and hence inevitable to encounter unpredictable circumstances. It's not a simple error one can easily avoid. You have overshadowed a complex project by your BIG ME AND MY BIG DC. Stop telling your dc it's adults' mistakes. You aren't showing good example to your children. I am sure they can understand the situation better than their parents.
If one day, your DC is caught in a similar situation as an adult, is this the (unpardonable) kind of response you want for him from the public?

C’mon cherryc. You know ‘error’ is a grey term. Your choice of putting your dc in the new JC is also an ‘error’ on your part. Similarly, the authorities also make miscalculations due to land constraint etc. Why you ‘awed’? Building MRT line not complex? You so smart you go plan and build it then. Stop playing the blame game.

What makes you think that the majority won't be sadder and more worried if our young generation thinks like you? In fact I think their reputation has just been enhanced by willing to bite the delay bullets by taking into account all the newly surfaced constraints unforeseen initially rather than plunging headlong just to keep a \"promise\" to save face and to please some parents, than to face structural issues later like the beloved National Theatre -
Why is it assumed only parents with students to be admitted qualified to be concerned parents ? Every citizen has a right to be concerned hence this discussion.
